2026 Edition kicks off a brand-new chapter for collectors and playmakers. We’re introducing new Heroes, the Brawl weapon, and an expanded lineup of Inserts and Parallels to deliver the most exciting release BoBA has ever produced.

The Alpha Era built the foundation, and in 2026 we aren’t slowing down. 

2026 Edition reaches new heights of creativity, rarity, strategy, and nostalgia. Whether you’re chasing Hobby exclusives or stacking Retail colorways, this drop delivers an insane variety of hits in every SKU offering something for every collector out there.

New Weapon: Brawl

The Brawl weapon makes its official debut in The Griffey Set!

It appears across multiple treatments and parallels, including Base Set, Battlefoils, the brand-new Red Battlefoils and more!

For collectors, Brawl means a fresh weapon to hunt along with tailored art for each Hero.

For players, it unlocks new tactics and combinations that will pair with Brawl focused Plays for an extra power boost in competitive play.

Cards #1 – #240 in The Griffey Set will be Base Set Heroes

Look for these heroes with the following Weapons: Fire, Ice, Steel, and Brawl (new)

Battlefoil #1 – Battlefoil #360 in The Griffey Set will also be Base Set Heroes

These Heroes can be found with the following Weapons: Hex, Glow, Fire, Ice, Steel, and Brawl
These cards can only be found sporting Base Set Heroes!

With the merging of Collector Booster and Hobby Box SKUs, Hobby boxes have become our flagship SKU offering a well-balanced chase at rare and powerful hits. The consolidation means that many inserts and parallels once spread across different products are now packed exclusively into Hobby & Jumbo Hobby boxes.

Iconic favorites like Bubble Gum Battlefoils, Grandma Linoleums (Green), and Silver Battlefoils have all shifted to Hobby-only status. Blizzard Battlefoils will expand into Retail, but we will now see Featured Heroes on Blizzard Battlefoils. These Featured Hero Blizzards are exclusive to Hobby SKUs.

Colored Battlefoils are Hobby exclusives! Green is still a case hit and Pink Battlefoils are still hen’s teeth rare secret 1-of-1s.  Also look for Red Battlefoils sporting the Brawl weapon as a brand-new addition in 2026.

Even broader distribution inserts and parallels like Colosseum, Logofoil, and the new look 80’s Rad will shine brightest in Hobby, where Featured Heroes can also be found as an exclusive chase.

The new Hobby SKU holds the ultimate collector’s chase with tighter distribution, high-end hits, and the best odds at pulling APEX level cards.

 

Retail SKUs are making a big splash with The Griffey Set! 2026 brings an entire lineup of new cards you can’t pull anywhere else.

Blasters lead the charge with exclusive Headlines Battlefoils, featuring Steel, Fire, Ice, and Brawl variants.

Collectors will also see the new Red Great Grandma’s Linoleum and Icon Battlefoils! Icon BFs will cover the Brawl, Steel, Ice, Fire, Glow and Hex weapon types.

Retail gets even hotter with Grillin (Fire), Chillin (Ice), and Slime (Glow) Battlefoils! There’s also the debut of the Power Glove (Brawl) Battlefoil, which is exclusively found in Double-Megas.

Together these exclusive chases make Blasters and Double Megas a must-grab for collectors. Look for them at your local Target or Dick’s Sporting Goods on release day!

The 2026 Edition isn’t just another release.. It’s a new beginning!
